EXPO Council of Parents and Teachers

Children's hands surround a colorful "Thank You Families for your donations" poster on a floor with a green and orange rug.

The EXPO Council of Parents and Teachers is committed to ensuring EXPO Elementary School continues to offer fun in-and out-of-school events, enrichment opportunities, music and science residencies, cool classroom materials, and field trips for students.

Aside from three elected positions - chair, treasurer, and secretary - this is a fluid group, with members committing time and energy to fundraising, events, and other projects as they're able. The more parents who contribute to just one project, the more we can do to keep our community strong and growing!

When Are EXPO Council of Parents and Teachers Meetings?

Our council has one Meet & Plan Council Retreat in late summer. This 90-minute, in-person meeting (kids welcome!) lets us connect face to face, identify projects we'd like to focus on, and have volunteers step forward to lead different projects.

We then have monthly, 30-minute virtual meetings throughout the school year--come as you're able!

Meetings start at 6:30 p.m. We use this standing Google Meet link: https://meet.google.com/two-qirn-byf

Council meeting dates for the rest of the school year are:

  • June, 9th, 2026

Questions? Email Council Co-Chairs Emily Campbell (emily2.campbell@spps.org) and TJ Lang (lang.terr@gmail.com).
