It is my great honor to serve as the principal of EXPO Elementary School. EXPO is a vibrant, child-centered school that strives to meet the educational, social and emotional needs of every child.
EXPO Elementary

A friendly, happy environment filled with student artwork welcomes one and all to EXPO – a lively school with an extraordinary range of resources.
We emphasize projects in arts, science, and technology/engineering – students might write and produce a play one year and build cars the next.
Grade 5 is a leadership year, in which our oldest students take on greater responsibility such as the 5th-grade leadership team, kindergarten Reading Buddies, and our legacy field trip where 5th-grade students spend a week in the boundary waters.
We have a strong social- emotional program where our counselors create and teach lessons in classrooms that focus on healthy mindset and behaviors that support student mental, social/emotional and physical well-being.
Our teachers use the Science of Reading approach to help students build a strong literacy foundation through explicit phonics instruction, word recognition and language comprehension.
