The kindergarten music curriculum is based on exploration. We begin with exploration of the voice using songs and poems in which students talk, sing, whisper and call.

In first grade students begin identifying, defining, and manipulating musical concepts.

Since classrooms are multi-aged in 2nd and 3rd grade,
the music curriculum has a two-year cycle.

Since 4th, 5th and 6th grades are multi-aged classes, the music curriculum is on a three year thematic cycle.  This year our activites revolve around the theme of American Music.
