Susan Johnson has been teaching in St. Paul Public Schools since 1997. This is her third year at EXPO Elementary and will be teaching 1st grade this year. Over the course of her career she has taught third through sixth grades, and technology as a resource teacher. In addition to EXPO she has taught at North End (now Music Magnet), Battle Creek Elementary, and Crossroads Elementary. In recent years her interest in technology integration grew and she decided to pursue a degree in Educational Technology. Susan feels passionate about technology integration and is looking forward to working with the her 1st grade students at EXPO.
Outside of school, Susan enjoys practicing yoga, traveling, cooking, gardening, live music, and spending time with her family. Susan lives in the Como neighborhood in Saint Paul. She often walks the lake with her new puppy, Bernie!
Susan loves being a part of the EXPO community. She finds the staff and families supportive and great to work with. From her position as a technology specialist, she became very familiar with all the students at EXPO and finds them absolutely delightful!
