This will be Kristin's third year as a Speech Pathologist at EXPO Elemtary, and she has been with St. Paul Public Schools since 1997. Kristin received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from UW-Eau Claire, and her Master of Arts in Communication Disorders from UW-River Falls. She has experience with pre-K through high school students who have communication difficulties.
When not at EXPO, Kristin enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, ages 18, 16 and 12. They love to ski, fish, travel and watch the Badgers and Packers. Youth and High School hockey is also a HUGE part of Kristin's life!
Kristin lives in Woodbury with her husband, Marshal and her two sons, Gabe and Brody. Her daughter, Madeline, is a freshman at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she will study to become a teacher!
The warm and welcoming atmosphere at EXPO, as well as the tremendous parent support, make teaching at EXPO very gratifying. Kristin is looking forward to getting re-aquainted with her current students and meeting her new ones this school year. "No kid is un-smart. Every kid's a genius at something. Our job is to find it. And then encourage it."--Robin Sharma
